17th Street Edwardian

This Edwardian home had been divided into a series of small, dark rooms, disconnected from the site’s views and south-facing setting. The full-house remodel carefully repositioned windows, walls, doors, and skylights to focus on views and flood the house with natural light. A 14-foot window wall folds open to extend the kitchen and dining room out to a large deck. Barn doors create a master suite when open, or a separate master bedroom and library when closed. A new guest bedroom and office were added by expanding down into formerly unused space.
